Nez Noir is a red organic blend from the Domaines Rouvinez winery.
The Nez Noir Rouge is vinified on fine lees and in oak barrels. It exudes beautiful notes of blackcurrant and ripe strawberry, with a nose enriched by sweet spices. The palate is well-concentrated, remaining focused on the fruit, leading to an elegant and long finish.
The name NEZ NOIR is inspired by our flock of sheep with the same name. Between mid-March and mid-April, we let them graze in our vineyards. Soil maintenance occurs in perfect harmony with nature. When the vines begin to grow, our sheep rest in a meadow near Sierre, awaiting their return to their original land in the Upper Valais at an altitude of 2,700 meters. Facing the Matterhorn, they will be sheared, yielding several kilograms of high-quality wool.
